Monique Arrington

FAR WEST REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Hailing from the incomparable, three-time Five-Star Inglewood Chapter, Monique Arrington proudly serves as the 32nd Regional Director of the Far West Region of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. Guided by her regional theme, ELITE – Empowered Leadership, Inspired to Excel, Monique is committed to advancing excellence, unity, and service across the six states and 29 chapters that make up the dynamic Far West Region.

Monique’s leadership journey in Jack and Jill reflects her steadfast dedication to the organization’s mission of nurturing future African American leaders through service, civic engagement, and cultural enrichment. Before assuming her current role, Monique served with distinction as the Far West Regional Treasurer (2023–2025), where she strengthened fiscal accountability, streamlined regional financial processes, and built sustainable systems that continue to support the organization’s long-term growth.

Professionally, Monique serves as the Executive Director of Programs and Finance at A Step to Freedom, a Los Angeles–based nonprofit organization focused on housing, family reunification, workforce development, and recovery services. In this role, she leads strategic operations and financial initiatives that expand opportunities for justice-involved and unhoused individuals across Los Angeles County. Her leadership is marked by innovation, compassion, and a deep commitment to equitable community impact.

Monique is a proud graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and Pepperdine University, where she earned her Master’s degree in Management and Leadership.

A devoted mother and community advocate, Monique leads with grace, vision, and purpose—believing that when we empower others to lead, we elevate entire communities. Through her ELITE leadership, she continues to inspire the Far West Region to reach higher, dream bolder, and remain destined to excel.
