Super Area Work Day

Super Area Work Day (SAWD) is a signature Far West Region event designed to strengthen our chapters, clarify our shared goals, and equip mothers with the tools and training needed for a successful program year. Held annually and hosted by rotating chapters across the region, SAWD brings together mothers, officers, and leaders from every area to focus on regional priorities and deepen our collective commitment to excellence.

A working conference at its core, SAWD offers a full day of purposeful learning and collaboration, often featuring:

  • Workshops and leadership sessions

  • Training in national standards, program requirements, and governance

  • Best-practice exchanges and roundtable discussions

  • Updates from regional and national leadership

While the location and host chapters change each year, the purpose remains the same: to prepare, energize, and unify the Far West Region as we embark on another year of impactful programming for our children and communities.

Super Area Work Day reinforces what makes the Far West so exceptional—our collaboration, our standard of excellence, and our unwavering dedication to developing strong, confident leaders. When we gather for SAWD, we leave equipped, inspired, and ready to serve with purpose.
